Author Comments:
I realised I haven't seen enough movies from the first half of the 20th century for it to matter greatly to split it by singular decades. This works better, I think. Basically/sort of/almost splits the century into pre- and post-WWII
Once I hit 40 films for 1930s, 1920s, and 1895-1919 I'll split this list.
EDIT: Cut out a decade. More streamlining on the way!
EDIT EDIT: one more decade. Time to watch 19 more films from 1920s, and 20 more films from 1895-1919.

7,2 Citizen Kane. Man I admire r courage.
It was 7.7 a while back.
I like Chimes At Midnight better. Still gotta see Magnificent Ambersons, F For Fake, and Touch Of Evil though.
Neorealism: I suggest you Paisà and La Terra Trema, in my opinion better than Ladri di Biciclette. And watch Umberto D, by De Sica.
I just downloaded La Terra Trema and I need to watch it soon! Thanks for the reminder.
No problem. Duty. Another gem of neorealism, not much remembered ad it deserve, is Roma, ore 11 by Giuseppe de Santis.
Try with Letter from unknown Woman, one of my ten favourite movies.
Sooner or later, it will be watched.
