great list. "At my Most Beautiful" is a masterpiece of song. A Great one. "Stand" also a great track, i think your list really reflects what mine would pretty much be. i'd put "Nightswimming" on mine though. Great list!

Dang, Nightswimming should be here! Great song. Glad you like my choices.

The new albums worth a listen then? :) hehe (not that i ever thought it wouldn't be)

Certainly! Ignore the critics that panned it and marvel in the gloriously uplifting Aftermath, catchy rockout Wanderlust, downer Leaving New York and unusual Electron Blue. ;)

"Find the River" is absolutely the most beautiful song REM has recorded! Good list.

Thanks for the comment, I agree, it's a very beautiful song.

wezzo, completely changed my view of Aftermath. you see the day i rated the songs my stero was playing up so i couldn't quite hear it, it was juddering, i didn't get the full effect of the song. but now i've heard it crystal clear it really is a masterpiece, very uplifting. happy song like Stand but with the tone and feel of say...nightswimming. my god i love aftermath. sorry about the previous rating.

Once again, your REM ratings are perfect. Glad you changed your mind! It took me a few listens too, but obviously I now love it. I like your consensus of Stand + Nightswimming = Aftermath!
