Good to see Revolver there, bro. ;-)
whoa dude have you got / or even heard that BNL released a new album!!! Barenaked Ladies : Are Men. i'ts second half of a 29 song recording session from BNL Are Me lol i only just heard about it :-o gonna order it soon
Yeah, I've heard, and yeah, I've got it! You're getting behind the time! ;)
It's great, more upbeat than Are Me. I reviewed it at Amazon.co.uk if you look through the reviews there actually.
I have all 3 of those BNL albums, and I love them all. :)
Just listened to Born to Run earlier, man, and I really loved it. Definitely one of my favorites.
Glad to hear it, my man! Heard any other Springsteen?
Yup, I've heard Nebraska (also a favorite) and the three-disc compilation, The Essential Bruce Springsteen. I'm definitely gonna check out some more of his albums soon.
"Born to Run"...man, that is a helluva song, isn't it? It's one of a small selection that I can say I truly relate to.
Naturally, I particularly recommend the ones on this list. But everything he's done (with the exception of Human Touch) is great.
I love "Born to Run" in so many ways. And yep, it's one I think really taps into the zeitgeist (oh no, I sound like a marketing rep) of the teenage condition. He gets every detail spot on, and he sings with so much conviction.
