I`m just trying to update all the films I`ve seen from November 2004 onwards.
There will probably be some Hall and Zsigmond. The others will be added as I see their films again.
But I like all of the cinematographers you mentioned very much.

Very interesting. Good to find Miyagawa, Muller and Nykvist, though i think their best work is missing. How about Storaro, Chris Menges, Almendros (or have i missed them?- harder to spot when not alphabetical). Glad you put Peter Greenaway as from Wales. I'm irritated that he's often listed elsewhere as born London (including by David Thomson, in his dictionary of film, in spite of my having corrected him!) In fact Chris Menges has been living near here in Wales for some time.

Hello Mr. Mizoguchi ;-)

I only listed the cinematographers, whose films I have seen since November 2004 (and I am slow updating the list.)
The infos on birth and are from imdb, or from myself if I know a more reliable source. Chris Menges is also a fine filmmaker and an excellent cinematographer.
I admire Almendros and Storaro and they will find their way into my list pretty soon.

Btw, the listing is alphabetical, but by first name! I think this makes it a bit more personal. So you should look under Vittorio and Nestor in the future :-)
