Author Comments:
My personal ratings for the films of 2010. Due to smaller amounts of films that I see each year and thus the greater ability to have a reasonably-sized list with this many rankings, the scale can be extended more. Do not expect this treatment on my albums list any time soon. My scale for film is briefly explained below. I am also very interested in being challenged on these opinions, so if you have any criticism, PLEASE STATE IT! Recommendations? DON'T HESITATE!
WORTHWHILE
6.0 = ABOVE AVERAGE
6.5 = GOOD
RECOMMENDED
7.0 = GREAT
7.5 = EXCELLENT
MUST SEE
8.0 = MASTERPIECE
8.5 = AMAZING
9.0 = SUBLIME
9.5 = TRANSCENDENT

Agreed
Nice list. Good to see another Scott Pilgrim fan. Let Me In & Greenburg were also very good. Otherwise I'd recommend: Animal Kingdom, Machete, the Kids are All Right & the Town.
I am interested in Let Me In and Greenberg already (in fact, this comment reminds me to make a film wishlist, so thanks). I haven't heard of Animal Kingdom, and I was on the fence about Machete and The Kids Are All Right. I will check them out. The Town gets a 5.9 rounded to a 6.0 from me due to the fact that it is overlong and over-acted in many spots, and the cinematography style negatively impacts its action sequences.
