- The Usual Suspects: I only ever saw the broadcast cable version, so it's probably not the 'real' cut
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: I saw recently, it's incredible, and moving. The sub-plot hurts
- The Apartment: Haven't seen, but like the casting
- Finding Nemo: My favorite animated feature so far
- Homem Que Copiava, O: I'd like to see, seems a bit madcap
- The Incredibles: Saw on an in-flight, late at night, in extreme discomfort. Liked anyway.
- The Sting: Clever, I'm amazed every time
- The Wizard of Oz: Comfort Cinema for me
- Dare mo shiranai
- Judgment at Nuremberg: Recommended by a WWII interested co-worker
- The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance: Western, right? Will see when ill
- Charade: The leads are masterful, and I love cutie-pie because of it. (can't think of her name)
- Duck Soup
- Lola rennt: Tense, and thoughtful. I like Franka Potente as Lola, and the soundtrack's pretty good.
- Monk: This is cop-drama at it's best. Not funniest, not harshest, but altogether - the ensemble, and odd cases are riveting.
- The Sixth Sense: I think, in channel surfing, I saw the end of this, sad, but not in the super-depressing, life is hopeless way.

- Brazil: Woah, this mind-trip is suggested in place of drugs, and has some strong social commentary.

- Adaptation.: Recommended by my cousin who doesn't watch many movies, but reads
- Charme discret de la bourgeoisie, Le: Sounds artsy, I'll have to watch it sometime

- The Magnificent SevenAh, Yul! You're my man among men. Oh, and Steve McQueen too, but the whole thing's great, I like Elmer Bernstein's music too

- The Game: One of those "dramatic twist" movies, it keeps everybody in the dark until the end, saw at grandmother's house

- Tombstone: Lame western, but I like anyway

- Strictly Ballroom: Baz Luhrmann's only fave of mine. I do really heart this one.
- X-MenThe exposition to a long chain of sequels. Fun, but you know what's coming
- The Cincinnati Kid: Clueless about this, possibly a western, could see?
- Four Weddings and a Funeral: I've heard all over that Andie MacDowell is hell for a movie, and I'm not keen on that one englishman, but we'll see
- It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
- The Italian Job: The original is the only "Job" worth taking. Forget the remake with Marky Mark & Crew
- The Lion in Winter: Glenn & Patrick, together and flaming, should be good,

- My First Mister: Intro to Lelee (sp?), nothing unexpected, but still good
- The Salton Sea: Late night weirded-out film, it appealed to me in a very dark, dangerous way

- Far and Away: It's 'the' Cruise & Kidman film, when we know about them what we do now, and see their 'innocence'
- A Foreign Affair: I missed about a 30-min gap (the last 1/3, saw last 4 minutes) but liked its quiet, unassuming drama
- The Four Feathers: As they say, visually stunning. I like war heroism. Saw, twice.

- Un divan à New York: Silly french and their love stories - I probably won't, but it's got La Binoche!
- Wild BillA western, who knows if it's good, since not many people
- Death Becomes Her: Funny Hawn, typical dorky premise, my coworkers like it, no wonder

- Mixed Company: Dunno why I like this, it was a SHOwtime picture, and now I've got the VHS. Campy family feel-good.
- Tank Girl: Looks strange, and possibly just plain wrong, but I'd like to judge for myself

- Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde: Dumb, perky, fun
- Howard the Duck: Huh?
- Absolutely Fabulous: Decadence! I find this hilarious because it's so far separate from my reality, and naughty

I agree that the sub plot to Eternal sunshine damaged the movie slightly. i'm guessing you mean the whole kirsten dunst - older man thing?
Yeh, I think I understand the director's motive - to underpin the damage that such mind alteration can cause, and to bring the plot around to Joel and Clementine posessing their initial taped interviews, but it could've been done in a more artful, less hurtful way. (Just my perspective)
i agree here also. though i do like the idea of the tape scenes, you are right, the way they spoke about eachopther was way to agressive. Almost as if they never liked eachother in the first place, it contradicted what the director had earlier set us up to beleive (that they were deeply in love)
