About Me

I am a bonafide weirdo. Born and raised in San Francisco, where I almost fit in (a little too normal, perhaps.)
In movies, I have a strong preference for Action and Comedy, but most films that try to combine the two don't do so well at either. I won't watch horror movies or really deep, moving stuff. So called intellectual movies tend to bore me.
My book collection is extensive, but consists almost entirely of Science Fiction and technical books. I don't like most non-fiction because it generally either has an unhappy ending or is way too sappy for me. Give me a good adventure where the bad guy's plans are foiled and the hero gets the girl. (or guy. or three-headed, green, chlorine breathing, venutian dragon.)
I like just about every type of music you can think of. Some more than others. Don't care much for most rap (which isn't really music anyway; it's a form of the spoken word), heavy metal, or lite pop. Can't stand muzak. Love the blues, baroque, and the Beatles. I have hundreds of CD's, including all kinds of classical, Country, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Disco (I'm not ashamed to admit it), various international styles, Space (aka new age), and just about anything else you can think of.
