About Me

I would like to say this: when it comes to taste and opinion, books, movies, tv, music, and art are all subjective; however, good and bad are completely objective. A good film frequently differs from a beloved film. Which is why I believe people to be ignorant when it comes to film. Luckily, all of the lists I have created express which ones I find to be my most-loved, and not which ones I find to be best. For example, I love the movie Killer Klowns from Outerspace but everyone knows that movie is downright awful. Or perhaps an even better example: I hate the movie Mystic River for various reasons, but I will not deny that the acting is superb and the film has a very deliberate, even pace (more than can be said for most films). I'm cynical, and I'm somewhat pompous (I believe I have better taste and knowledge than most), just like everyone else on this site. Despite all that, I'm really nice, and in college!!!!
