About Me

I am a librarian in my early 30's (whoa! When did I get so old?!). I have a lifelong love of reading - and of listmaking, so this website is GREAT! Over the past few years I've been trying to do more reading and have set yearly goals for myself. Last year I read 100 books & made my goal by the skin of my teeth. This year my goal is 120, but we'll see if I make it. I'm not sure at the rate I'm going that I'll do it.

I also have a goal for work that I'll read at least one best-seller every month, as I don't typically read those (since most of them I either don't care for or don't want to read simply because "everybody's doing it.") I've also been reading more children's & young adult titles lately, partially because they're fast to read, fun to read, & because it helps when it comes time to recommend something for kids to read. :D

I am debating whether or not to post any parts of my Mega List of "what to read" just because it's SOO long it gets discouraging! I suspect I'll keep plugging away at it and try to make more time for myself and it'll either get read or it won't. ;b
