I voted for Python, but my real first choice would be The League of Gentlemen. They're bloody funny (sometimes literally!), but I can see why they might not be to everybody's taste.
Yes but just "Crimewave", thankfully. "Black Books" series 1 has been out of stock for a while, and the "Revengers Trilogy" was already OOS when I added it a few days ago.
Oh, I'm lovin' it! It's great to see all these British TV series that aren't available on DVD here. It also helps that I'm only a state away from them, so I can depend on DVDs only taking 2 days to make the trip eithe rway.
I hope the stagey bits don't make it into the finished film. My major grouse with "Chicago" was its approach to the musical numbers (they happen only in Roxie's head). If you're going to do a musical, go full out. Don't make excuses for the music.
Funny that the article doesn't mention packaging which is most collectors' major beef with the studio. I've never seen WB transfer problems bad enough to annoy me, but I do hate their reliance on cardboard digipaks and 'snapper' cases that easily get scuffed up. There has been a notable shift toward keepcases in the past year, though, (compare the packaging of Harry Potters 1 & 2 to 3) which will hopefully continue.
I can't understand why people always get so het up about celebrities' comments. Just because the media repeats every word they say doesn't make them gods. For what it's worth, I've always admired Russell for not being afraid to speak his mind.
Note to self: titles to be added to the queue..
Kes
A Matter Of Life And Death
Mathieu Kassovitz - Amélie, Birthday Girl, etc.
Werner Herzog - The Incident at Loch Ness

If you like these, try FilmWise's many quizzes and contests. I particularly like the Invisibles.
I love Aussie/NZ actors and films! Here's some more:
For directors:
BTW, the Baz Luhrmann movie you mean is "Strictly Ballroom," not "Ballroom Dancing."

March-June: Netflix
July: Netflix & Blockbuster (trial)
August: Netflix & Walmart (trial)
September: Netflix (2 weeks) & Walmart
October: Walmart
November: Walmart & Nicheflix
December: Nicheflix (cancelling next week) & Netflix (just rejoined today)
I can see where that might be a tad confusing. ;-)
