"Some Girls" by Rachel Stevens
"The Show" by Girls Aloud

"Letter from an Occupant" by The New Pornographers
"Bandages" by Hot Hot Heat
"Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior
"Try Again" by Aaliyah
"Heartbeat" by Annie
I thought Capote did a nice job blurring the lines between Truman's honest connections with other human beings and his moments of manipulation. It's nearly impossible to tell the showman from the human being.
Brokeback is indeed a subtler movie than most are giving it credit for.
The only major prediction I would disagree with is Gwyneth winning best drama actress. I would say that this is Felicity Huffman's to lose...and it's unlikely she will. Awards grups love it when actresses physically change for roles.
The Decemberists "On the Busmall"
Okkervil River "Black"
Architecture in Helsinki "Do the Whirlwind"
My Morning Jacket "Off the Record"
Andrew Bird "A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left"
I just think his voice is beautiful, and the change of pace is kind of refreshing...I haven't heard a good album of torch songs about transsexual yearnings in a while.
Gorillaz - the giant apes
The Doors - multicolored doors leaning against building in the left background
Beach Boys - guys w/ surfboards
Phish - goldfish in foreground
Nine Inch Nails - nails in foreground
Pavement - all the pavement in the picture
I don't think that they are in any way a "bad" band (in fact, it makes me smile that they seem to have helped chime the death knell for nu metal), but what I've heard of their new one seems to be more of the same from the first album.
"Apply Some Pressure" is a great song.
Good to see Trailer Trash, Cowboy Dan, and Jesus Christ..., The Lonsome Crowded West is an incredible album.
Good list so far!

Glad to see Sufjan. :)

I voted for Ang.

Scarlett Johannson seems to be gaining steam for Match Point. She's running as Supp. Actress.
Thank you for the high praise! I'm glad you enjoy the list so much.
If it makes you feel any better, I love Funeral...I just happen to love the 37 albums in front of it a little bit more.

HELL YEAH.

Not a bad list, but I'm sad to see Iron & Wine in the honorable mentions.

I voted for "Oh Comely", but all the Neutral Milk Hotel and Belle and Sebastion tracks tore me up inside for a little bit.
