Oh I still haven't finished it. I tried it again and still didn't like it, so it's on the shelves, and I'll try it one last time at some point. After all, it took me a full five tries to get through Neuromancer.
I think I'd have to say that Unrequited is my all-time favorite. It strikes the perfect balance between the unexplainable and conspiracy theory madness. But Shapes is a close second.
Interesting. Beyond the Sea creeps me out something fierce, to the point that I totally run away half way through, but Darkness Falls, I think, has fabulous Scully, totally not hitting any of the men around her with a log during their pissing contests.
Dude. Shapes? Second best episode ever, man. They pack a lot of social commentary and mythology into one episode, and the cinematography is breathtaking.
Oh I just *refuse*. They lose their home? To people? Possibly one or more of them dies on the journey to find a new home? Oh no. No no no no no. I have enough drama involving homeless rabbits in the real world that I don't need to go seek it out. When it comes to rabbit stories, my emotional speed is much more Runaway Bunny.
I too, loved that show with a love that was pure and staggering. At least for the under-12 set. I must have watched the gymnastics episode at least 10 times.
It was a tough call re Naked or Speaking in Tongues.
Also: I'm Afraid of Americans. Brilliant!

I have to ask, because I'm me: Do the bunnies come out okay?
Wait, there's a usual level of sense in Lynch movies?
Oh wait wait wait. I thought The Stand where Laura San Giacomo ran around all crazy eyes did not suck. What was it missing for you?
And have you seen the original BBC television version of Hitchhiker's Guide?
Okay, but is Inland Empire any good?
Good luck with that Bruce Campbell book, dude. I think I made it 20 pages in.

Bad Monkey - The Richard Thompson Band
I'm Gonna Be a Monkey - Ren and Stimpy
Btw, there's another version of Monkey Man by Toots Maytal and the Skatalites.
Hee hee! Misfits of Science. Oh you.
What, so you're saying Vice wasn't cancelled prematurely?
Why the interest in monkeys, btw?
