Can we agree yet that we need a new solution? It looks like a couple people have volunteered to help out with actual live eyes, so what's the next step to making this happen?

Which is better for the people? Capitalism or Communism?

I remember when listology was useful and relevant.

Who Is The Grearest Rock N Roll Front Man?

No problem. :) He's the lead singer of Iron Maiden, and known not just for his enthusiastic delivery and great voice, but for leaping around in costume on stage. He's also a licensed airplane pilot, novelist and can drive a tank.

If you're not familiar with Iron Maiden, here's a link to a clip of them live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlSidenJ5-E

Books Read in 2009

I love Oliver Twist. I fully agree that it's just a darn good story. Gosh this list just keeps getting more and more interesting. Is Crusoe still your favorite read of the year so far?

2009 Reading Log

Ooh! What did you think of Dean Koontz' Watchers? And True Notebooks, the juvenile hall book?

I was similarly underwhelmed by Veronika Decides, and am glad it's not just me being crazy: that book really was a whole lot of nothing much.

Strong female protagonists of SciFi fiction

True. I was trying to differentiate books from movies, tv and games. Suggestions?

Featuring a character with a glass eye (*rockrock*)

Excellent work! Thanks for this, I've added the book to my list. And now I'm off to re-read it, as I had totally forgotten about that. And really, whatever reason necessary to reread some Raymond Chandler.
