hey l. bangs,
nice to see you post! I've really enjoyed your lists that you have made in the past, espically the best albums lists. Would love to hear some recommendations of artists from you just from the cds i've posted. Like i said, i have around 600 discs now, so i am way behind updating. Anyway, i buy most of my cds used. I just haven't had the time (or luck) to pick up the eagles GH 1. There is always something there which i want more... :)

yeah, flaming lips are great. I recently got zaireeka. It's OOP, so it's really hard to get, and very costly. It's a great cd though. Play them at consecutive times, and they make different cds.... it's awesome. If you don't have that, you should get it cause any flaming lips fan should have this
Zach
hey edward, yeah, i have most of those albums, except for neil young's harvest. I have over 600 albums now. about 200 of them being bootlegs. There are way to many to list now, but maybe when summer comes along, i will get around to posting my full list.
Thanks for the post
Zach
oh, BTW, i just wanted to post, and say that i saw 2 great movies this week. Memento, and The Others. Both are WELL worth seeing in the theatre, espically The Others, which took me completely by suprise!
thanks jim, i can tell you, that you def. don't want to rent/buy the new exorcist. If you like these movies, you probably won't be dissapointed by the top 10. Thanks
i burned neutral milk's cd, and it is a good folk album, but has some use of....well,...bad language in some parts... not nes. cuss words, but.... ummm... sexual references. Not what i really expected from a "folk-like" album. The music is pretty good though. Just not an album you wanna listen to with the "family"
Good list. Suprised to see Pulp Fiction (one of my all time favs) so high, and Godfather so low. But that's the way it is with lists... they reflect peoples own opinions. There are a few movies on here that I haven't seen that i will look into renting. I like that you put Mr. Smith goes to Washington as high as it is. That is a great movie that seems to get the boot when it comes to these lists. Great list, keep up the good work.
If you like Belle and Sebastian, check out the cd, "If You're Feeling Sinister" and "Lazy Line Painter Jane" <(my personal favorite). Both are great cds.
Of that list of albums, i have listened to 3 of the artists on that board. I have a CD by Badly Drawn Boy, Manic Street Preachers, and the Beta Band. I must say that i was disapointed by the Manic Street Preachers, and Beta Band cds (did you get the beta band from High Fidelity?), but Badly Drawn Boy is a GREAT Cd... one of my favorites, and is in regular rotation in my cd player. I suggest you check them out.
Was "The Doors" (debut) album ever remastered? I see all their other ones are, but i can't seem to find a remastered copy. I know that you can get all the remastered discs in the boxed set, but, other than that, is it possible???
New poster here, i've been stalking your boards, lbangs, so i finally decided to post on one of them.
I have been downloading Pearl Jam covering various artists recently. 2 of the best songs I have heard are, "Light my Fire", and "Dock of the Bay". Both are EXCELLENT covers, and i recommend you try and get ahold of them if you can.
