I sadly have to disagree with nearly everything you said. "The Usual Suspects" was very original (and I'm interested to know what you saw as unoriginal in the movie). "Run Lola Run" was tremendous, and managed to show amazing character development with a wonderfully original plot. The beginning of "Moulin Rouge" is like being beaten with a rainbow-colored baseball bat, but works well with the movie. I think "Braveheart" is one of the top 10 epics of all time (possibly 5). Without the girl's conflict from her time in the desert, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" never comes together. How you can not appreciate "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" is beyond me. The latter being the significantly better movie. Great movies. You need to rewatch. FOTR is definitely the best of the trilogy. The story developed is terrific. Although, I see how people that desire more action are turned off by the the first one.
ok, Top 10 movie lists are pretty subjective, but c'mon if you're going to iclude a star wars series movie how do you put Return of the Jedi above Empire Strikes Back?
Mike, I'm disturbed in so many ways, but I can't simply vent my queasiness at your list of telemarketers (oops) I mean televangelists without adding a little something to the cause. You gots to know Mr. T can't be denied to a place on the list. I pity the fool who doesn't put Mr.T on their list.
Thank you so much for your inclusion of the Pop album. Pop was an excellent album, and I'm completely baffled that it got so much downplay simply because they went a little techno. It's nice to know there's someone out there that can actually listen to an album for what it is and then make a judgement on it.
Joe vs. the Volcano and Wild Things are definitely on my list, and I hadn't seen goonies till just recently but that movie cracked me up.
I'm not sure what it is about Joe vs. the Volcano, but I just can't get enough
I realize you already have to excellent example for films set in Alaska, but I wanted to mention Limbo as a possible option also. I'm not familiar with all the films set in Alaska, but it's the only one I know of set in the southeast and filmed in the southeast. It's also one of the most true to life pictures of life in southeastern Alaska in the fishing cities.

Absolutely, 100% in agreement with your placement of Dave Matthews Band. How the heck did these guys become famous? Frat boys unite!!!

Ok, I realize I misspelled the word two and used the word to instead. I kind of feel like a tool, but anyways I do hope you consider Limbo.
