i'd have to say that, even though morning glory was bigger, definately maybe will always be truly the best oasis album ever. the quality and rawness of the tunes are unsurpassed as far as oasis goes.
i'd go:
definately maybe 10
whats the story 9.5
masterplan 8.5
standing on the shoulders 7
heathen chemistry 7
be here now 6.5
oh you forgot one of the greatest artists ever in my opinion - SUBLIME! i'd also put oasis before blur, as i think noel's stuff is more timeless and of course the guitar sound is trademark and key influence to moving britrock around the world -especially to the ignorance of modern america in the area of good british music.
i must add Pearl Jam's 10 and oasis "definately maybe"...i've always thought those were 2 of the best debuts. definately agree with pavement, velvet and stone roses albums!
sea change is sheerly his first 5 star album! ingenious!
ah c'mon...urban hymns is a perfect album! it even won nme album of the year...or q or spin or somemthing
