2007: Movies Sorted By Tier

Well, I more meant who on the production team thought it was a good idea, but I'm glad you liked it. Still, who knew the darkness within could be so irredeemably goofy?

I hope so! Let's find out.

I'm not sure. I think it's unlikely, unfortunately. I am in the midst of moving, and my life is in complete turmoil.

Strangest Lists on Listology?

Looking for "strange list" pointers. See the parent of this post for details. Thanks!

Trailerology: The Mist

Ha! Good one. Of course, the Jackson dismount was so effective because he was so well known. Braugher SHOULD be so well known, and it's a cryin' shame that he's not, but his dismount simply can't have the same shock value as a result.

Actually, it wouldn't be the first time I'd preferred the American remake to the Japanese original, at least where the "J-Horror" wave is concerned. Maybe I will check it out, if you liked it, thanks!

Cool. I've seen The Departed since then, and it's way up there too. I'd have to rewatch it, Aviator, and Goodfellas to have any kind of chance at picking a favorite.

Not at all! I really liked it, but I feel like I have to watch it again to place it/review it. That's usually the case with my "Unranked" ones.

Netflix Has Movies Not on DVD

Yeah, I could probably do better in that regard. Although break-even feels pretty good right about now, and probably wouldn't want to put in more ads without doing a general redesign. Of course, if the bills go up that changes the game.

Lukeprog Dugg, IMDB'd

No apologies, please, and that must have been quite the thrill!

Stick with the tech stuff. I started off doing this as a self-taught liberal arts major (that fact shows too often, I'm afraid). As for WordPress, Smashing Magazine has put up some inspiring posts. You can do a lot with that tool.

My host is EdgeWebHost.

Sean Bean, good call. But which role? All the meaty ones are taken, so he'd have to usurp someone. He would have been a good Sirius, but Oldman did a nice job on that one. James Potter, maybe? Not much for him to do, though.

Heck, maybe slather on the makeup and have him play Dumbledore. I think he'd do a better job hitting the right notes than Gambon is.

"Longest book, shortest movie".

You say that like that's a good thing. :-)

Actually, I see that both LBangs and AJDaGreat (who said the same thing in his review) also liked the movie, so I'm looking like the minority report.

But please, do tell me how much you enjoyed HP5!

False Alarm

Wow, THANK YOU everyone! Feeling much better about all this, and thanks again for putting up with my momentary crisis. I'll be offline for a bit, then back next week. I'm behind (again) on my reviews, so I'll have to get those up then (Akeelah and the Bee, The Break-up, The Last King of Scotland, and The Host).

It's awfully nice to be back, even if I never left!

No Country for Old Men

Wow, nice, really looking forward to that one! Although it should be illegal to have Kelly Macdonald in roles where she has to suppress her awesome Scottish accent. :-)
