ok thanks, what are the challenge ratings for The Downward Spiral, Radio Gnome Invisible Part 1: Flying Teapot, The Good Son,Good, Fire of Love, Starsailor and Piper at the Gates of Dawn?
the few jazz albums I own are spiritual unity, ascension, a love supreme, Mingus ah um, black saint, kind of blue, bitches brew, unit structures, atlantis and out to lunch.
Have you heard Zappa's Little House I used to Live In, Brown Shoes Don't Make It or Music For Electric Violin and Low Budget Orchestra? all deserving of 9/10 IMO
yeah I sampled electric heavyland and it sounds like pretty crazy stuff...
Scaruffis new favorite band of the 2000's http://scaruffi.com/ratings/00.html
Acid Mothers Temple, not to mention he added some 7.5's
thanks for the help, after I'm done with the "journey" I'll come up with my own conclusions for greatest rock and possibly jazz albums.

The only one I disagree with is the stone roses debut,
what would you rate it as?
He states Lester Bangs to be the greatest reviewer in rock and jazz history
I'm sure he said greatest American critic

No no no all I meant was Velvet Underground and Nico was recorded before Sgt. Pepper that's it...
it's Hardly fair to compare the two
to the comment above sgt.pepper was not the first concept album
1) how much I appreciate what the album is trying to do and (2) how well the album does it.
what exactly were the albums setting out to accomplish
