Hey, Iron Maiden is alright, I used to be really into them but that was a childhood artist for me (personally). I love old Metallica, and Megadeth is pretty cool. Avenged Sevenfold has never really been my style, but if you like it that's cool. Dragonforce I dislike because they apparently used computers to do awesome guitar riffs, which is kinda lame in my honest opinion. Deep Purple is awesome, I don't know yngqie malmsteen. Lynrd Skynrd is always good, queen isn't my favorite but I do enjoy. Bob Seger is cool too.
I don't listen to metal much at all really, and this list is so outdated, I put albums on here that are compilations, so they shouldn't even be ON here. I've always been into the heavier stuff, such as Acid King - Busse Woods, and Kyuss - Sky Valley. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality is also a huge favorite of mine. I still love all the albums on this list, but the majority of my listening goes to the electronic genre. Rush is cool, but I don't personally own any albums by that artist.
Steve Hillage - Green. This makes me wish I had been around in the 70s (really everything he did, check out Gong - You, if you don't already know of it). I've listened to like 4 of his albums so far and I love them all. Fish Rising is another stunning piece of work. The intro song, Solar Musick Suite, alone blows me away every-time.
Thank you! I don't even remember writing this stuff, but I do remember thinking it, like a distant memory haha. It's very difficult for me to remember this list while I'm "heavily medicated", so I have to have it up before I do my thing if anything is going to get done on it :P.
This is random, but is there any way you can bring back the "Don't put list on most recent after updating it" button? I notice spelling errors on my lists often, but I don't want it to go to the most recent. If it's not too much to ask for? Other than that, the site is near perfect in my eyes :).
Haha I would absolutely LOVE to! I have several online friends in Canada (some I speak to a couple time a week through skype). I heard a funny joke the other day actually:
Canada: The worlds gay friend.
Not necessarily true, but not one person I have met from Canada has been mean in any way to me, yet :P.
Yeah, I've started to notice that trend, but I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D Imax, and I thought it was horrible! I was analyzing every aspect of where Disney just went "Fuck Lewis Carrol, fuck our 1951 version, just fuck it, let's make something that will appeal to the masses who just want to see a happy ending with a little bit of eccentric Johnny Depp mixed in (he did a revolting job of acting 'mad' by the way)" I felt so disgraced I needed to leave halfway thru, I felt embarrassed for everyone there. My friend said he thought the movie was okay, I said "what the fuck were you on?!"
It is pretty pretentious, I must admit, but those damn beats sent me flying through space lol :)! I can see how it wouldn't deserve a spot on this list, however, but it still is one of the best songs I have listened to while being baked, that and Bay of Pigs - Destroyer, I can't get over that song.
Haha, I can relate exactly :). I'm so glad I was finally able to repay all of those "Just...wow" moments that you have given me! I've had this track on repeat ever since I got it, and I remember when I finished downloading it I got the exact same feeling that you described! It's almost sad, because OAR 003A is also an amazing piece of work, but it's almost like a modern business building next to the eiffel tower - it does it no justice. And you are absolutely correct, it just keeps getting better.
Yeah, I love that song so much. I actually bought the physical album on amazon just so I can say I own something by loop guru :P.
I CANNOT believe you have not heard of Oni, OAR 003B (which was the song I meant, A is still good, but it pales in comparison, to me at least)! It is, in fact my favorite minimal techno song I have heard yet, and it quickly rising to be in my top 10 favorites of all time. You NEED to check that one out. OAR 004A is also worth a check out, but it isn't as good as 003B imo.
I too have a gmail account, and have not been recieving emails from this site. I do browse listology often though, so it isn't the biggest deal in the world.
I have not! I will check them out and let you know what I think. Anything in particular that stands out by them I should look for?

Respritorio -
You should check out Darktremor's other lists (like his Best Ambient Music of All Time list.)
As for his opinions on the artists you mentioned you will have to wait for his response :P.
Pineapple Express is one of my all time favorite comedies :D. I have seen it several times.

Hey, check out the list I just made, and it's #1 :P.

Oh the irony.

Have you heard of john pinette? He has had me laughing so hard I am literally crying! If you haven't heard of him make sure to check him out.
