I think that's how they were listed in the book, so that's how I typed it. It actually states in the "1001 Books..." that "them" was published with no capital T, but I've changed it to Them as it looks strange being the only one not capitalised. I looked up The Naked Lunch and you're right, so I changed that one too. Thanks!
Hi alyxstarr, thanks for the heads up. It should definitely be Emma by Jane Austen, not sure how I managed to type Emina.
John Dos Passos was listed as Dos Passos (twice) in the book "1001 Books You Must Read...", so that's how I typed it up, but it seems strange not to give the author's full name.
The first that popped into my head was Vanilla Sky/Abre Los Ojos, but I don't know if it counts...
If it does count, you could also add Waking Life. Brazil is another.
Some more:
12 Monkeys
Nightmare on Elm Street
Twin Peaks movie?
Lost Highway?
Mulholland Drive?
Eraserhead?
American Beauty
Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion
I think Waynes World had one too, but check me on that one.
I'm sure there are plenty I've forgotten, I can't possibly remember every movie I've ever seen, but I think I've got the bulk of them now. I love lists, that's the only reason I'm attempting it!
Bertie, have you seen Alexandra's Project? It's a good'un. Also more recently, Wolf Creek had some good outback scenery... you'd have to like horror films though...
IMDb is a great online movie database with heaps of info about any movie you can think of (cast lists, reviews, forums, quotes, trivia etc.) You can look up a movie title, an actor's name, whatever. I was looking up random authors just to see if anything popped up (for example there are about 50 different versions of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland). Check it out...
A Scanner Darkly is definitely one I should add to my TBR (to be read) list. Some of the titles I've got on my list are movies that I'd never heard of until I started looking up authors that I have read on IMDb, just to see if there were any adaptations. I'm still working on this list... when I have time!
I'm flattered that you've asked, but unfortunately I haven't seen a lot of war movies (it's not one of my favourite genres) and I don't know much about war history... I was thinking that if someone else was to compile the list I could learn more :-) Sorry... but maybe someone else on Listology would be interested?
I did actually notice that some authors seemed to have their entire catalogue listed, which in a way is a waste of space on a list like this!
I'd be interested in that. Check my profile for my email address and send it to me if the offer is still good :)

Thanks MaxCastle, have fixed those typos you spotted.

Anyway, they've both been fixed!
No problems. BTW, if anyone spots a typo, please let me know so I can fix it!

Do daydreams count?
I should be finished soon... probably next week. Hope you can wait until then!
It showed up on the "new releases" shelf at my local library, I don't know if they somehow got an advanced copy or something? Beats me!

Nope, that would be a New Zealand film :-)
