I just finished No Country For Old men five minutes ago, and I gotta tell you - I almost gave up after the first few pages. I just hated how it was written, but as I read, the more it seemed to flow and I ended up really enjoying it.
The movie is very similar to the book, but the book reveals some things I didn't catch in the movie. And I guess the movie ends about 30 or 40 pages before the book ends.
Oh yeah? I think my favorite has been the second book of the Dark Tower series. There was just something about it that I wasn't expecting that I really liked.
I tried once, got about halfway through and stopped. By the time I remembered it, I had already forgotten most of it. Then I managed to read it the second time. It was odd. And I'll have to read those sometime.
Yeah, it's kind of an odd choice, but my mother listened to that song religiously. I probably should have forced some better music on her :P

Ooh, Bound For Glory. I quite liked that one. Well, more than I thought I would.
I wish I could watch movies without squirming. I'm horrible.
This is an awesome list. I love it.
My favorite's probably "We were so poor my brother and me had to ride double on our stick horse."

Mm, you should. I love that book, but I pretty much love any novel that even hints at being about a dystopian society.
I've read 1.69% of the list. Makes me feel like I need to read much, much more.
I thought it did. A lot of people bother me when I say it's one of my favorites with novels like 1984, Lord of the Flies, etc.
Oo, when I get time I'll have to try that one.
I finally got around to reading It. I feel accomplished. Hm.
That was neat. My favourite would have to be religion though. Ligature? Religion? I like that.

I would have to say placebo and mitochondrion are some of my favorite "P" and "M" words as well.
