I really enjoyed it. It was a fascinating read. I told a couple people who had never heard of it what it was about, and they really couldn't get past the zombie premise, but you really could subsitute any plague or major world catastrophe (but I like the zombie part :P).
I like them well enough, although not enough to buy them. I tend to go through YA books pretty fast, and they're not worth the money for me. Also, while I enjoyed the books and read them all, I kind of dislike the protagonist, which really tempers my enjoyment of the whole series.
It was an entertaining summer movie. funny in parts with big cool explosions and hot people running around. It's not a cinematic masterpiece, since I often cringed when some of the characters opened their mouths, but I enjoyed it.
It was pretty ridiculous. It starred Robin Dunne, star of such straight to video gems as The Skulls II, American Psycho II, Cruel Intentions II and Species III
