Yeah, but that's stupid logic. If you're saying "the Worst Picture", it shouldn't be based on which one came out the year some other movie did.
I find it difficult to take any list of the worst movies to win best picture which doesn't include 'Kramer vs. Kramer' seriously. Especially since they seem to be implying that 'Terms of Endearment' is sentimental crap and 'Rocky' is manipulative (I'm assuming, but that's usually why people bash them). 'Kramer vs. Kramer' is more of both than either of those.
BUT if you're going to go by movies which shouldn't have beat other movies, 'Going My Way' is an absurd movie to leave off. It won best picture the year that Billy Wilder made 'Double Indemnity', Alfred Hitchcock made 'Lifeboat', Preston Sturges made 'Hail the Conquering Hero' and 'The Miracle of Morgan's Creek', Cukor made 'Gaslight'. So they gave it to a Bing Crosby movie.
