It's hard to say without knowing how you feel about other books, but I don't think that The Tin Drum or The Name of the Rose are particularly worth reading.
Grass's novel is historically interesting but his themes and subject are kind of old hat, or seemed so to me. Eco's book is just unwieldy and much too pleased with itself to be any good.
You had me upset for a moment, because the Joyce quote was one I was really sure about. The mistake is mine, however - I meant to write 32 where I wrote 34. 32 really should be Joyce's Ulysses.
02 is Morrison - Beloved
07 is McCullers - The Heart is A Lonely Hunter
08 is [ ] - Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf
12 is Wolfe - Look Homeward, Angel (maybe?)
13 is Faulkner - Sound and the Fury
14 is Hemingway - The Sun Also Rises
23 is Rushdie - Midnight's Children
25 is Burgess - A Clockwork Orange
34 is Joyce - Ulysses
35 is James, maybe? The Awkward Age
Well, I can strongly recommend you don't read Dan Brown, but I'm not sure I can recommend any books to you without knowing what you like.
That said, Robertson Davies is a good read. You can't go wrong with the Deptford trilogy.

Can I ask what you thought of Advisory Committee? I really like the other Mirah albums but I still haven't heard much from AC.

Heh. As I was scanning the list my first reaction was... what about Aeroplane? Because that album is the greatest.
Did you not like Mercury Rev's Deserter's Songs?
Not a lot of surpirses, huh? I did think that Van Lear Rose would finish higher, but all the usual suspects ranked about where I thought they would.
I'm mildly ashamed to say I have many of the records they listed, and many of the records rank among my favourites as well.
