To Do Before I Die - circa 2004

oops, I guess I missed out on the owning a house by 30 part. Partly it's because the market was way out of whack, partly because I *still* haven't committed to staying in Baltimore (though I'd like to, the job is still sorta unsettled in some ways. I think this should settle out in the next year or so.).

100+ Books with numbers 1 - 100 (and beyond) in the titles (in progress)

One could use amazon, sure, but I'm sorta interested in what people come up with in other ways. I loved the Kim Stanley Robinson trilogy, BTW.

Oh, goodness - if I start quibbling about fiction/non, I'll be here forever ... but I'll add Nancy Drew. :)

Strangest Lists on Listology?

I have to second that recommendation. I thought some of my lists are strange, but I don't have any lists of random things!

Concerts I've attended

Sorry I just saw this question! I would imagine that the setlist was about the same as you described, but I must confess that I wasn't so well versed in their stuff to know at that point, and I can't remember now. The bummer about MPP is that the residents of the neighborhood require concerts end at 10pm sharp. It was a weird, abrupt end to the concert - that much I remember ...

Actually, after some web searching, this concert seems to have been in 2003. Oops. Assuming that's the one I actually attended, the setlist is here:

Okay, I'm requesting no more contributions that are either a) outside 1-100, or b) a number already covered. I'd rather fill the rest of the list ...

42nd is out, too - it's ordinal, not cardinal

thanks! I'm disqualifying Twelfth Night for not being a cardinal number, and 10 Books of Architecture for being non-fiction, and the other as it is "by 14 writers", so 14 is not in the title.

Songs about Texas and/or its cities

Thanks for the contribution - I included the first 2, but I'm saving the others for another list I should create - Songs that mention Texas or its cities (but have neither in the title). Another of those: Route 66 - originally recorded by Nat King Cole.

Thanks for the contribution - I've included the George Strait, but the Bowling for Soup song belongs on another list I should create - Songs that mention Texas or its cities (but have neither in the title)

Movies Seen In 2006

Yeah, I just walked away with such an icky feeling, but it was definitely about the guy and the people surrounding him (the coroner! - not even one of his associates by choice). I guess that's a good sign, though, if the film makes you feel *something* about the characters and the story engages you. It makes me shudder even now.

Grizzly Man. Ugh. Can you rate a film as good even if the subject is so totally wacko? I guess I think it was as well done as could be expected, but seriously, that guy was disturbed, for as normal as he was in some ways ...

Music Motherlode: 50 States and Tree's Lounge

grammar nazi strikes again: it's actually motherlode, as lode means a "rich source or supply" ... but thanks. I can't wait until Texas. Maybe I should send my (incomplete) list as an intro ...

Some more or less or less strange and totally uninteresting facts about me

what's the *official* language of luxembourg, if there is one (or more)? And for those non-believers, the country does exist - I can vouch for it as we got petrol there last January. Or, I guess I can vouch that it existed last January ...
