RSS feeds for users would be one hope of mine - is there any chance of this maybe? Just a feed of what they've recently updated and the date the change occurred, maybe..
But really, I'm happy with things as they are now, so anything on top is just a nice bonus. Thanks again for agreeing to take over the site.
edit: oh, but I really hope you manage to keep the loading times down. I love Listology because it doesn't lock my old computer up like Facebook and stuff. I know change is inevitable but it'd be cool if you keep it a pretty fast site :-) But hey, I'm only one user... I'm just thinking out loud!
I haven't been getting the Updated Content, New Post and Response Notification e-mails lately. I've just changed my e-mail address as I thought it might be some over-zealous spam filters on that address (filters that remove mail before it even gets to me), but I thought I'd ask in case there were probs on your end?
That sucks, I hope you get all that stuff back soon. I've got 10,000 odd tracks on my HD - including a lot of random one-offs - and it would be awful to lose them all..
A side note: someone pointed something about a BNL lyric to me today that I hadn't noticed before - in "One Week", he says something like "I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve, I have a history of losing my shirt." He's implying he loses his mind, I think -- I'd never made that connection before..
I agree with you. It'll be a great shame. Still, if nobody "saves the day", I'll be sure to keep in touch with you. Jim says he'd look at ways of keeping the community together anyway, so I'm hoping that'll be the case
I desperately hope someone else can take over. Sure, I can keep my lists elsewhere, but it just wouldn't be the same.. other Web 2.0-type sites are too bloated, and hosting them on my own site would mean losing any sense of community.
If things do shut down (and oh how I genuinely hope that doesn't happen), thanks for the years of work you've put into this site, Jim.
Yep the whole run of Frasier is out on R2 now.. a complete series boxset comes out soon too. I'm mulling over selling my old sets in order to buy it. It'd be nice to have the whole series streamlined (all on R2) and with subtitles.
Hey, heyrocker! You rock! :-)
I can't believe I've found a TV-DVD list I haven't commented on!
Fantastic collection.

Seems to be working now (this is the first response I've had since changing the address, so I didn't know until now.) Guess it was on my end then!
Great list, good to see the wonderful Maroon at #1.
An aside, Jim..

I'm not sure if you check out the front page or not; if not -- It's Time.
What do you think of "Around the Sun" and "Accelerate" - have you heard them yet?
Yes, me too.
A potential takeover? Ooh, good news, no matter how early in the game talks are..
Reading this made my stomach turn over.

Just watched S8 this weekend. I really liked your two favourites, though I think my favourites were "The Passion of the Jew" and "AWESOM-O".
