I have a few of the other CDs, but I had to vote for ...And Out Come The Wolves. I overplay the CD to hell, and crank it as loud as my stereo can handle when I'm driving. The only song I really usually skip is She's Automatic. Favorites are Old Friend, Listed MIA, Journey To The End Of East Bay.
I have a feeling you and I would be the only ones voting on something like that! I do have a few favorites though: Punkhouse, The Girl Next Door, Murder In The Brady House, Selena Says (etc.)
Nice Downloading! I signed up for their trial last year, and got 50 songs at no cost. Not all of their albums are encoded at 192 bitrate like they should be though. Oh well.
Good points professor. My thoughts are that at least Elvis, Harrison, and Mercury got to reach adulthood before they kicked the bucket. As far as drugs/lifestyle: a little heroine or a few pills never killed anyone! Ha!
Like I've said before, I only really listen to rock-type music so I don't really know details about artists from other genres. These polls/articles are here for discussions and learning though, so carry on.
Yeah, he was fairly young. I believe it was Richie Valens who died when he was 17 though. And he had already written some great songs by that time. I think Buddy Holly was 22.
nah, that's not the correct song or artist for #3.
Yeah, I don't think I've ever gotten tired of that song yet.
I might pick Dead Americans by Lars, Bloodclot by Rancid, Rebel Rebel by Bowie, How's My Driving by Less Than Jake, or Bob by NoFx.
What would you expect from the guy with the Operation Ivy tattoo?
You're better off not knowing! It's slowly consuming my life!
Also true. When I'm out sometimes "I look at all the lonely people". I do feel I can relate to this song.
True. Lennon really uses his voice in a different way on that one.

I actually ended up putting my vote in for the 60's.

Good call with the Screeching Weasel, way to be. Plus, Fugazi 13 songs is a great album, and their last album The Argument is incredible.

I think the band The Animals sang House of The Rising Sun. You can always look songs up on www.ubl.com if you need to find origins!
