I don't think it matters if Stephan King hated it or it doens't follow the book closely because the movie just rules. Jack Nicholson if out of mind and it's just freaky as hell in general. So I just think you shouldn';t have the movie ruined for you because it isn't like the book. enjoy them seperately.
I've never read the book, but I've always figured if the movie absolutely rocks, why worry that it's not like the book. Have you seen version that more closely follow the book? They have all been bad.....

I actually started on upright bass, and then picked up bass guitar a year later. SO yes, I do very much love the upright, and I think of it as my primary instrument since its what I live off of pretty much. But this is a list of favorite bass guitarists, not upright bassists. Jimmy Blanton is the man, I love everything he did with Duke Ellington, which is a f'n lot, if you know what i mean. I have heard Christian McBride on this Sting DVD we watched in Jazz band one day when our teacher didn't want to teach us, and he's pretty cool. I did get a chance to watch Tony Levin (isn't he the guy who plays with the talons on his fingers) on a DVD, but I practiced instead. I'm not a U2 fan, but I didn't know he played Double bass. My favorite double bassist is probably Paul Chambers though, because he played with Miles during some of the greatest albums ever recorded and was perfect. So What has the best intro to a song ever pretty much.
Oh snap! I cannot believe I forgot Clapton on While My Guitar Gently Weeps! And I got that new Whayne Shorter album (the greatest hits one) for christmas, it has Aja on it and it's pretty damn cool. The whole album rules...
I think you should switch the places of you never gove me your money and the Long and winding road. Long and winding road always seemed like the last page of the last chapter of the Book of Beatles, sort of the little cherry to top the ckae, it closes out the history of the Beatle sin my opinion. That's just me though, I would also use goldenSlumber/Caryy that wieght/The end to close it out.
I saw a picture of him now not two minutes later, and I really do hope to look like that one day. I really want that long of hair and a beard like that. My beard right now is kind of shitty, because I have about as much hair on my upper lip as 12 year old boy. Or a lesbian. Not even that much actually. But I am only 16, and it grows in pretty well everywhere else so Perchance. Thanks.
