Submitted by Feif Umgotnn on Sat, 11/28/2009 - 19:25this album is not just the work of a genius of sound (and his assault on western counterpoint, and the modern free compositional styles), but the work of a genius singer (whose vocal essentricities found new places in the following decade), but the most underrated quality is Beefheart’s lyrics.
Pere Ubu, the historic era

Terminal Tower collects all the Hearpen singles that Pere Ubu put out from 1975-77, a label they created for their singles, plus some other B-sides and another single from the “historic era” of the band.
I could not delete the article. My deletion is spam...please loosen the spam guard! Everything I wrote about the "historic era" of Pere Ubu is here, though it could be better, but that would take 10 times the words and 100 times the research.... I did basic formatting from how it appears on the blogger site. Aufgrund der enthaltenen 51500 technischen Woeorter ist das Werk sehr umfassend und leistet im Gegensatz zu normalen Woerterbuechern eine gute Hilfe beim Aufsuchen von auch im technischen Sinne korrekten Uebersetzungen.

A Better Hell for the New Mllenium!
Submitted by darktremor on Thu, 10/18/2007 - 04:52- I know why Christianity is losing members these days. It's because they're so uncreative with their pathetic Hell. Forever on fire? Is that the best you guys can do? The Spanish Inquisition was more horrible than your supposed unimaginable epitome of excruciating torment, and that was something like 300 years ago. If something that out of date can beat your little fire lake, you guys are sorely in need of an overhaul.
