The Ultimate List of Electronic Dance Music
Submitted by Wootson on Wed, 02/01/2012 - 08:38- This list is by no means complete, and will be updated frequently with new tracks. It features electronic music spanning many different genres, but it mainly contains music in the house, techno and trance genres.
- Everything is ordered alphabetically. I find it impossible to order tracks in order of liking, as every track has its own charms and qualities. Besides, it's very easy this way to see what other tracks are in the list by certain artist(s).
Connoisseurs of REAL Trance Music...prepare to have your mind blown \o/ --> /o/ --> /o_
Submitted by dochyo on Thu, 01/19/2012 - 19:23- this is my first post. Granted, most of these are in the uplifting, melodic, euphoric, and progressive genre...I've been told and I believe I have an exceptional taste in trance music (as I'm sure you do as well)...particularly a taste in incredible melodies that are often very simple. My favorites have made real fans out of at least a couple people who had never really listened to it before. I guarantee you won't regret listening to/saving the songs on my absolute favorites list. Please feel free to critique and suggest any additions.

- I'm new here and won't waste a lot of words, but I'm just doing this out of boredom/experiment to see if anyone will _read this and reply to this.
- IMPORTANT: I just did this for fun and not out of seriousness, so if your list would look totally different, please do _not take any offense! :)We all got different tastes.
- New suggestions are always welcome (in fact I would really like to see lots and lots of new suggestions!) but there _are a FEW rules first:
- 1. Don't suggest songs already on the list, since that won't add any new content.
- 2.
Best of Uplifting, Melodic, Euphoria Trance
Submitted by LetUsAdoreThem on Sun, 07/24/2011 - 23:20- The Best of Trance (and some other EDM genres) - melodic, uplifting, euphoric. Music that fills me with joy, puts a spring in my step and tranceports me to a higher dimension - peace, love and benevolence for all creation - If music like this played all the time I'm sure we would have a perfect peaceful happy world! This music is my life and all I can say is Thank God for these amazing artists and music producers.
- The first 25-30 tracks or so are all number one.

- Psychedelic Trance has come a long way since it's birth, which coincided with the so-called 'death' of Goa Trance in the late '90's (although it was more of an evolution than a death).
My Top Progressive Trance Albums 2001-2010
Submitted by Jango F76 on Fri, 06/25/2010 - 09:25Tags:
- This is a list of my favourite Progressive Trance albums of the last decade, in order of the year of release. Some are widely recognised classics, while others I feel are overlooked or underappreciated gems. The term 'Progressive Trance' can be quite broad - so to be more specific, a lot of these albums can be classed as progressive psy-trance (aka psyprog or psygressive) and some are minimal progressive, etc.
- -
- The definition of 'progressive' in dance music terms is quite widely disputed and can mean different things to different people.
