Personally, I find the mere possibility that Alan Rickman will be involved encouraging.

Submitted by jim on Mon, 08/07/2000 - 11:19So far, I love William Kotzwinkle. I can't remember laughing harder at a work of fiction than I did at The Midnight Examiner. So I tried Dr. Rat, looking for more of the same. At times morbidly funny, but mostly gut-wrenching. Highly recommended.
lbangs and JohnnyW definitely deserve more comments on their 100 Best Rock Albums lists. Or perhaps you're waiting for lbangs' last 20 entries so you can confirm that your favorite-but-currently-missing album isn't waiting in the wings? Or are you like me, and just plain intimidated by the depth and breadth of their musical knowledge? :-)

Fear not, the concept will remain the same, as will the basic organization. No data will be lost. But I hope to expand the features, update the navigation, and generally improve it. I expect to take my time, so I'm thinking six months at least before you see anything.
So, the sky's the limit. What features do you want? The two big concepts I'm mulling over are:
- The ability to create "favorites" - favorite lists, users, etc.

In addition, my former roommate (and now brother-in-law) said it was the best movie he'd seen in ten years (but his previous favorite was 3 hours of a guy riding around the desert in a sheet.) And it won all those oscars. But after finally getting around to watch it last night, I found it unimpressive. Am I alone?
