I'm really looking forward to NYGz, Ghostface/Doom, Cunninlyguists, Outkast, Slaughterhouse and Royce releases. I've given up complete hope on Saigon (who I'm dying for an album from), Rakim and Dre. I also want a Raekwon album but after all this time I don't want to get my hopes too high, although I feel there's a good chance he'll drop.
You made me aware of some albums I didn't even know were scheduled for '09 releases, thanks.
Yeah the Raekwon album was "officially" scheduled for an August 11th release date for a while, but I just read the other day that it's been pushed back to September 8th. We'll see what happens with that. I wish he'd just release the damn thing already.
Both Amazon and UGHH have the Rakim joint scheduled to drop on September 15th, which surprised the hell out of me. I honestly didn't think it would ever come out. But if Amazon gives a date for it, it's usually legit.
I really need to expand my album collection. Thanks for the list! Cheers!
You heard that Undun album? It's great, I'm blown away by how consistent The Roots continue to be.
Haven't heard it yet, looking forward to checking it out though....
