What I'm Listening to Today: 3/8/04

Requiem for the Americas - 9:30 A.M. - This is an out-of-print CD that I've been listening to now for almost 10 years. Composed by Jonathan Elias, this CD features artists like Jon Anderson, Michael Bolton, Toni Childs, even Charlie and Martin Sheen and MORE. It's an epic series of songs written about the Native Americans. Nice little set of rock songs, written around 1989. It's timeless, though, leaves no sense of "eighties music" in your head. I am especially fond of the songs performed by Jon Anderson, like his "Far, Far Cry" song. It's a shame this is no longer in print. I think many people could still be enjoying this CD. It must have been a limited edition type album, or something.
