Shakira - Laundry Service - 1:55 P.M. - For the past couple of years I've missed out on Shakira. Why? Because when I first saw her on a CD cover she looked like another Brittney Spears, so I mistook her for another teeny pop star. When a coworker gave me her Laundry Service CD, I was completely shocked at Shakira's sound and voice. No, she is not another Brittney Spears. I guess this goes to show I should never judge a CD by its cover. The track "Eyes Like Yours" ranks right up there with my favorite songs ever. It has a mystical Arabic sound to it, and if only I could have been a director, I'd have loved to direct the music video for that song. I have so many wild ideas for how it would be acted out! Now, I must confess that I haven't tried to listen to Norah Jones for the same reason - because she looks like another teeny popper. Maybe I should give up my judgments and just try the shoe on for size. Who knows? I might just be surprised!

Sting - Ten Summoner's Tales - 2:50 P.M. - This CD has some old favorites from high school. I can still remember my best friend and I getting into "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" and "Fields of Gold" from this CD.

Bach - Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin - Disc 2 - 4:20 P.M.
