What I'm Listening to Today: 3/2/04
Tear Jerkers: Classical Music to move the Mind, Body and Soul - 8:00 A.M. - "Tear Jerking" classical music. Tear Jerkers
John Cameron - Missa Celtica - 12:45 P.M. - Celtic classical music - Missa Celtica Starts off with a small dose of Uilleann pipes and gracefully smooths into an operatic choral piece. Suddenly track two breaks in with percussion and excitement. There are many varied styles of music on this CD. Though mostly choral work, there is a nice sampler of the harp and other Celtic instruments. For those who have never tried Celtic classical music, you should give this a try. John Cameron took texts from from 6th to 11th Century Ireland and Wales, 16th to 19th century Scotland, Brittany and Cornwall, and the Ordinary of the Mass and put them together into a beautiful tapestry of music, woven with many different colors to make the variation interesting.
David Bowie - "Hours" - 2:40 P.M. - Um, can you say "PERFECTION?" Hours
