Track No.1 - Faith in Chaos

This is my first proper production, mainly made up of samples that have been manipulated, ambient pads and eery sounding fx found after a lot of searching, so in other words, half my own pure work, half is more like a collage, though nothing remains in its original state. It is a dark ambient/experimental piece, one which takes its inspirations from the likes of Faust - Faust, Klauz Schulze - Irrlicht, The Orb & Karlheinz Stockhausen (not that I'm implying I'm anywhere near as good). Hope you like it, feedback will be great if you're willing to give some, though this style of music is not really for everyone, and needs a few listens to grow on you.

The track is very atmospheric and you have some nice samples going on in the background that add to the overall feeling of mystery and of the sinister. I've never heard a dark, ambient track like this before so, an original piece. Maybe it could do with some more variation, add another symphonic layer, vary the pitch or add a rhythm. What did you use?
Combination of samples, and pc synth things, for MIDI I use Magix Music Maker, which is quite bad, but the organisation on midi files is good on it. You can download ambient pad synths here and there, and there's a few preset synths on MMM. And thanks, it took a while to make, I'm sort of confused about how I feel about it now, satisfied or not.
You can always try improving it...I generally stop working on a track when I'm sick of improving it AND I find it satisfying enough to stop. After a point, hearing the same loop over and over again to improve every li'l part of it begins to drive me up the wall. The samples on your track were pretty cool though.
I think maybe thats what happened, you've heard it so many times in the course of making it, that it sounds boring now.
very cool track dude. sounds like something from half-life 2 or Aphex Twin's selected works volume II; dark, and synthy, with sorts of futuristic/IDM/atmospheric sounds. keep it up.
