Stook's big ol' Anime question

I've recently moved to the big city where you can actually see anime without driving 50 miles to rent it! So what should I watch? It's up to you, tell me what to watch and I will (if I can).

Steamboy is supposed to be great. Ghost in the Shell 2 less so.
