Stairway to Heaven

I was listening to Led Zeppelin's IV today. I decided to search for interpretations to "Stairway to Heaven", see if I could find anything interesting (because I sure as hell don't know what the song is about). There are a LOT of interpretations out there, about everything from the Hobbit to the Messiah, but this one has me convinced:

This interpretation really makes sense, without creating something that isn't there. But hey, if you have any interesting interpretations of the song, feel free to post them here. I'm still open to persuasion.

Interesting interpretation you've found, AJ. I admit, it did have me convinced, but the truth is, Robert Plant has expressed for a long time a keen and obsessive interest in Celtic and Middle Earth (i.e., Tolkien) folklore, and "Stairway" does make mention several of these myths in one fashion or another. You're right, though; it does make a valid interpretation without stretching the facts too thin.
