ok so about an hour and half ago i left the cinema after seeing this years 'Summer Blockbuster' Spider-Man2 which is sequel to Last years 'summer blockbuster' spiderman (man names are getting sssoo more original ;)

The Entance to the movie which consists of comic style pictures of what happened in the 1st is genius and one best film intros ive seen in a while. its funny because the night before i saw 'Daredevil' another Marvel comics movie which i liked at the beginning but then after he had the stupid fight with girl in the playground it went downhill for me. Now spider-man 2 was alittle more complicated in respect of my liking it. ok at first i thought it was great and kept the the comic style very well but it was the many, many cheezy moments that spoiled some of it for me. i mean you expect them now from superhero movies but still, though they do add a little comedy which is great. i liked the love story between Peter Park and MG,which is ventured with more detail than the other movie.

Also another high point of this move for me was the bad guy Doctor Octopus, wihch was a far better character than the previous bad guy, Green Goblin (yes those are their names :) i thought this one was far more agressive and it kept more to the character given in the comics and Cartoons. green goblin was a monster / goblin in the comics, tv shows but it 1st film they made him guy in a suit..

The acting was good, the bad guy was cool and well kirsten Dunst was Hot! ;)
it was a great movie with a great family / action adventure feel, and was 10x better than the 1st.

hi, i just saw Spider-man2 again at my local cinema with my mate cus he hadnt seen it yet and now ive seen it twice i felt it my duty (much like mr.Spidey) to help and inform everyone! Another feature a noticed this time round was how much alike to the first it was, Here are a few things that strike me:

1.)Both Bad Guys in both movies are controlled by mental demonds, it is not them who has control.
2)Both of the bad guys from spider-man 1 and 2 become friends with peter parker before they become foes.
3. Kirsten Dunst Has Another "Wet T-Shirt" Moment...(yeah and you werent looking :)

i found that i liked it more this time round, i still think DOC OCK is a better bad guy than the dismal "Green Goblin" ..dang. This is a summer blockbuster by all means, its sole purpose in life is to be a "Summer blockbuster ", and by that genre, its great, amazing even but as a stand alone film? Not Sure

I give spider-man out of 10 Stars ******** 8 Stars
