reading on the job

since my summer temp job is a joke ive read more books this summer than i think i have read in an entire year. actually its not that many, i just dont read all that much, so to me it is alot.

1. davinci code-probably the best book i have ever read. although its fiction, alot of the stuff is brought in from real research. i wouldnt say i was ever a religious person, but this makes me doubt really anything i was preached at in years of being dragged to church by my parents. christian enthusiasts must really hate this book. but hey everyone is entitled to thier own opinion about stuff like this.

2.come as you are-bio of nirvana. this book was much better than i expected. it was pretty cool reading about how the band came to be. it had a lot of inside interviews of band members. i havent listened to them since like 8th grade. back then i didnt even have the cd's, just cassettes, which i have no clue where they are now. definately makes me want to start listening to them again, especially since they referenced so many songs within the book.

3.some ann leary book (i dont rem the name) she is the comidian dennis leary's wife. i got the book free when i went to see the view back a few months ago. it was pretty good. basically it was a bio about how she and denis had a baby in england, the baby had lots of problems cause he was premature, they were broke, couldnt come back to the US, etc. not really exciting reading, but a pretty good read (girls only really)

4. virgin suicides-ive seen the movie a million times. definately a good book about a crazy family. kinda wierd. since i saw the movie before reading the book, i basiclaly knew what would happen, so nothing was really surprising.

5-sleepers (currently reading) although i read this in high school, im reading it again cause its really good. also a movie. both are really good. about kids in the 60's from NYC, got thrown in a juvinile detention hall, and how they basically went through hell. the movie is really really good, id definately recommend it.
