Possible Logo (rough sketch)?

Whatcha think?

I hope you meant it to be this way, but I think it's funny as hell... and I can't even point to a reason why. Poodle trimmed bunny? Dropped trou on a very cold day? Deer in the headlight eyes?

Actually...yes!

Score one for Me-erama.

:?)

Nice! But, logo for... what? Anything in particular?

Logo for listology of course...I mean who can't read my mind around here. Jeez.

:?)

It's more of a mascot than a logo, right? Does he/she have a name?

Yes, a mascot...I'm thinking of calling him Kiko for assundry reasons.

Should I finish the little fella?

:?)

He's a cute little feller, but somehow he doesn't look to me like a lover of lists. Where did you envision a mascot cropping up, were we to adopt a mascot?

Will our mascot be able to dunk a basketball after doing a flip off a mini-trampoline?

I certainly recommend a mascot for listology, for mugs, t-shirts...etc. Although perhaps the bunnie gets the axe, considering gentle teasing I and him have been receiving. :?)

I'm fighting for a Listology mascot...WHO's WITH ME! I'm prognosticating a deafening silence...but you never know.

He doesn't just dunk, he'll drink coffee and smoke a cigar while dunking with his butt. Let's see other mascots do that.

Oo, the bunny getting the axe, now THERE'S a logo! :-)

(no reflection on my admiration of the bunny - the gory image was too tantalizing to pass up)

I like the logo, but I'm not sure it'd work for Listology. First, it doesn't obviously relate to lists or Listology. Second, it's huge and would need serious modification to scale to a much smaller size. Third, it should probably be a vector graphic so it can be scaled and printed on merchandise and the like. But that all depends on Jim's thoughts...

uh, what does s/he have to do with listology?

and why do we need to have a mascot? did i miss a discussion about that somewhere?

Nope, you didn't miss a thing...I'm just using a little listology member veto power for my own slightly shady personal reasons. :?)

Your bunny needs a bow-tie.

Or how about this for a Listology Logo: your bunny in the famous Charlton-Heston-as-Moses pose holding up two inscribed slabs. What? They were a list weren't they?

My goodness, you've given me an idea worth stretching artistically for, Bunny Moses comes down mountain with Stone Tablet and big hairy beard. Right On! :?)

BTW you've been added to "stook's recommended movie game"...hint hint.

I'm serious about the Logo. Your model is the picture on the cover of the DVD of "Cecil B.DeMille's The Ten Commandments". We can change that to "Jim Biancolo's The Listology". What do you think, Jim?

Doesn't sound nearly as impressive as Cecil's. Maybe "James B. Biancolo's The Listology."

I didn't think you'd want to be that pretentious - but okay :-D

Ha! If it works for Cecil, gosh darn it, it can work for me too. :-)

Is your middle initial really B. or were you just using Cecil's "B"?

It's really B.

Poor little feller looks cold. Sorry I can't stop making fun of the way he looks. Wait... he's the lookout at a stick-up! Nooo.

Okay, bunny-boy is biting the dust today and replaced with something grander, more evocative and generally hare-ier (snicker). BTW I saw the cutest short before "The Impossibles" yesterday with a bounding naked lamb. Ideas are a-bounding (snicker twice).

Just want to make sure you took no offense at my remarks about the bunny, Stook. I was just having some fun at the expense of a cute little drawing.

Don't worry about it, jest away. I actually can't wait for your reaction to the next picture. :?)
