THE place to find DVDs
I found a GREAT FREE service that compares a bunch of DVD outlets, and lists the price from each. It's DVDPriceSearch.NET, and it is EXCELLENT. They search many of the very low cost outlets, including my personal favorite, DeepDiscountDVD (which I discovered in one of the lists on Listology! Whoever recommended it, THANKS!)
One thing it doesn't search is Ebay/Half.com. Ebay isn't really the treasure-trove of DVDs that it could be. Sure, there are a LOT, but I don't think the prices are that great. Half.com, however, IS an excellent resource. My one complaint is they don't have a very well planned search capability. It limits searches to 200 items (when their inventory would EASILY provide hits in the THOUSANDS), and when you search by category, you can't search the category by price. To search by lowest price, you have to do a manual search, and THEN input to search by price. Oh, the other bitch is that even though you can tell it to search for DVD only (IOW, to exclude VHS) it doesn't WORK!!! But there are so many good DVDs for very little money over there, you gotta check it out!
