Matrix - review *****

I was thrilled to buy my DVD player and even more thrilled that I would be getting a few movies free with it although I figured they would all be worthless and non-entertaining. To my surprise I popped in Matrix. The silly portrail of Keanu Reeves on Mad TV and such prepared me for the worst movie known to man. OOPS, I was wrong! The whole concept of the movie made me take a step back and look at life in wonder. And yes Keanu is a different kind of actor but no one could have played it better. Laurence Fishburne pulled me in just as he did Keanu and I began to regret the taking the red pill with him. But in the end, I was there pulling for him; 'Get up Neo, get up!' I still find myself enthralled in the movie over and over again, loving it as much the 100th time as the first.
