Does anyone know anything about the Cleveland Cinematheque? It's within walking distance of campus, so I'm going to try to take advantage of it. I was just wondered if anyone knows anything about it or has ever been there.

Hey, Geek! I had never heard of it before. But now that I see their line-up I'm definitely going to check it out. Looks like it's about 145.8 miles from my house in Columbus.
I'd love to see (or re-see) these upcoming movies... Lilya 4-Ever, Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns, City of God (again) and Ichi The Killer, to name but a few. It looks like an incredible theater as well.
Thanks for posting about this!!!
You're seriously going to drive 145 miles to see a movie? Although, actually, my dad told me that he was tempted to come up for the The Night of the Hunter viewing and lecture on October 16, and that's a little over 370 miles away!
I really would like to take advantage of this, but it's kind of expensive for a college student's tiny budget and I don't know if I'll see enough movies there for a membership to be worth it...
Well, for the right movie I would. But I'd probably make a weekend of it and do other things as well. I'd say any film that can't be found on VHS or DVD would definitely be fair game.
So how much are memberships? I couldn't find that information.
A years membership is $30 or $15 for students (I'm not sure if that's CIA students or any student, though.) Tickets with a membership are $4, $7 without.
If it's $15 for you, you have got to get one! That's incredibly cheap! But I guess you are there to go to school too. So maybe that's a bad idea. :-)
