I recently found a cool list called 100 Rock Moments from the
NME site.
(In case you aren't familiar with it, NME stands for New Musical Express and has
been a leading music mag in the UK for 40 years.)
The list includes such jems as the Beatles/Jesus comparison and
the use of
Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" in
Wayne's World.
I personally object to NME's jabs at Morrissey
but I'm sure he's used to it--and there's lots of other good stuff here, so I
forgive them.
