I just finished Martin Cruz Smith's newest novel, HAVANA BAY. If you liked Gorky Park, Red Square or Polar Star (and who didn't) I think you will enjoy Smith's latest. His Russian Police Inspector, Arkady Renko, is one of the most enjoyable characters I have come across.
