The Eureka Reporter of Eureka, CA, talked to Franklin Stover, about composing music for silent film scores. "Writing for silent films is anything but a quiet process, he said.
“It’s wall-to-wall music in a silent movie,” Stover said. “With a silent movie, the composer has to know how to (enhance) the gestures and the moods. I go into tremendous detail on this film, synchronized to some very minute moments.”
