Black Hawk Down

Why is it that Black Hawk Down is not mentioned in anyone's articles or anything? Is it that the movie is not liked because I thought that it was a masterpiece by Ridley Scott in making a spectacular movie out of a virtually unknown Somalian Civil War and the American invasion of Mogadishu. It definately ranks within my top ten movies ever and is my favorite war movie to date.

I dont know whether or not it deserves that much recognition, but it should be recognized. I think part of the problem is alot of us listologists haven't seen it yet.

Black Hawk Down as a whole movie rated a 5 out of 10. As a visual and sound effects movie making clinic 9 out of 10.

I agree with that. I admired the cinematography, art direction, and sound, but disliked the movie.
