Best Movies of 2004

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (probably one of the best of the 00's so far, in fact!)

2. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (seriously, this movie was so entertaining; no, it wasn't Citizen Kane, but it truly enjoyable cinema...no crime in that!)

3. The Incredibles (same as above)

4. The Saddest Music In the World (like watching a sad old movie with the lights out- all satire aside, of course. Isabella Rosselini should have been nominated for some kind of award for this role. Note: she looks so much like her famous late mother Ingrid Bergman in this film you just might shit your pants!)

5. Spiderman 2

6. Bad Education (very complex cimematography and superb, haunting performances!)

7. Maria Full of Grace

8. I "Heart" Huckabees ( a clever little film that certainly made one think...or at least think about not thinking)

9. Vanity Fair (wow, who knew Reese Witherspoon could act in a 'serious' film. Not I. Superbly done.)

10. Meet the Fockers (yes, it came out at the tail end of the year, but it was so funny!)
