Top 5 Live Music Acts I've Seen So Far

1. The Residents
-They'd been one of my favorite bands for a while. My dad's friend introduced me to them. He and I and some cooky chick went to see them at some old school dinner theater on the Demons Dance Alone Tour back in 2002. Meal then show. Amazing show. I was resting against the the satge for most of the show. Very fucking cool.

2. Asylum Street Spankers
-Went with a friend to the Ellington downtown Lynchburg to see them. 2007? Crazy rocka-hillbillies. They played TV Party by Black Flag, Sliver by Nirvana and managed to work the word 'cunniligus' into their act. Lots of fun.

3. The B-52s
-When I was a kid I entered VH1's Backyard BBQ contest to win the B-52s playing in my back yard. Well, I lost, but Eric and I saw them in Richmond at some outdoor venue in the summer of 2009. Very fun show. Lots of dancing. They played my song but not Eric's.

4. The Damned
-Warped Tour 2002. My 17th birthday. A bunch of us went down to the beach and camped for the night. Sean and I got high as shit on the beach in the pitch black and went into the water. Very weird feeling. Got lost. Tried to find the camp site in the dark with bare feet on gravel for hours. We got very mad at eachother. The show was hot as shit. Three dollar Mt. Dews. Lots of idiots. But they played Neat, Neat, Neat and I met Captain Sensible.

5. Ozric Tentacles
-Went to the Canal Club in Richmond with crazy hippies Ryan and Susan and their goofball friends. Bought ecstacy and acid from some guy with a ponytail in a small room. I took three hits of acid, but fucking Ryan took three e pills (one orally, one nasally and one anally) and i don't know how much acid. i can't remember what everyone elses did, but eveyone did something. Got to the club, shit started kicking in around the same time as the music. Trippy electronic band from England (I think) with the most amazing 60's style light show. Watch Ryan dance like a mad man and spaced the fuck out. End the night in a coffee shop somewhere.
